I love, love, love Joan Grant far memory books. I read Winged Pharaoh and then couldn't get enough of her. It was very hard to get copies of her books, but somehow my son found 5 of them at a garage sale and I have been reading and re-reading, (although now my eyes have difficulty due to the size of the print), all of them in absolute awe. My son also is in awe of them.
I do agree with the previous comment that her books would make excellent movies. Our current environment with a thirst for equality for men and women etc , would ensure their success. Scarlet Feather, Eyes of Horus with the sequel Lord of the Horizon, just to mention a few.
