I came across a copy of Far Memory and with such wonderful writing felt I knew the author. Perhaps in another life? I have moved on with my spiritual journey and have written a book called ‘From the Heart’ which is the story of my time in Egypt and my recovery from open-heart surgery with a few love affairs thrown in. I have felt blessed to read Joan’s books and will now order the lastest publication that was edited by her granddaughter. I just discovered it today on the internet. I will also now go back and read all her books which I have enjoyed over the years…Elise McCune
